Our Social Impact
Public Awareness
- We have been conducting 'Public Awareness Programs' called Jeevan Vidya Shivir since 1995.
- About 2000 people attend these programs every year in various parts of India.
- As of 2022, more than 1 lac people have attended this free 7 day session and have benefitted from greater clarity in their living. They have encouraging results to share.
- About 1000 people are currently in deep-study of the Darshan/Philosophy
School Education
- Started a new alternative school in Raipur based on this understanding.
- Included as supplementary course in Govt schools in Chattisgarh state in 2010
- Basis for 'Happiness Curriculum' in Delhi Govt schools. Text Books on Govt Site here.
Higher Education
- Human Values via Consciousness Development [HVCD] course included in Agricultural University State of Chattisgarh, India - 2010.
- Allied Human values courses* called 'a Foundational course in Human values and Professional Ethics' (HVPE) based on Jeevan Vidya are currently run as a foundational course in about 30+ universities in India in Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, UP, etc.
- All India Council of Technical Education [AICTE] has included the Human Values course based on Jeevan Vidya in their model suggested curriculum.
- Uttar Pradesh Technical University (AKTU) has included an Elective called 'Human Values in Madhyasth Darshan' in their Engineering Course.
- AICTE Model curriculum for minor Degree courses includes Human values in Madhyasth Darshan
Renowned missile scientist and Ex President of India (late) APJ Abdul Kalam had this to say about Jeevan Vidya in his address to the Nation on the eve of Independence Day, 2006 (watch youtube video)
